Bide is provided by Ax Hill Tecnologia da Informação LTDA ("Ax Hill", "we", "us"), CNPJ 53.748.847/0001-15, website https://axhill.co. Contact: contact@getbide.app. This policy explains how we handle information when you use the Bide mobile app and getbide.app.

Bide helps you pause for about a minute before eating — a companion for noticing urges, not a diet, medical, or clinical tool. Nothing in Bide is medical or nutritional advice.

Account information: if you create an account, we may collect your name, email address, and authentication tokens (for example via Apple, Google, or magic-link email). Check-in and usage data: feelings you choose during a check-in, optional notes, pause durations, and similar in-app activity you create. This is used to show your history and progress inside Bide. Device and technical data: app version, device type, OS version, language preference, and basic diagnostics needed to run and improve the app. Guarded Apps / Screen Time (iOS): if you enable Guarded Apps, Apple's Screen Time / Family Controls APIs process which apps you select. We do not receive a continuous feed of your browsing history. Configuration for shields and temporary unlocks may sync via your device's App Group for widgets and extensions. Widgets: widget snapshots may store limited local state on your device so Home Screen / Lock Screen widgets can update. We do not ask for payment card details in the free experience; if you subscribe to Bide+, purchases are processed by Apple or Google under their terms — we receive subscription status, not your full card number.

We use information to provide and personalize Bide, sync your data across devices when signed in, operate Guarded Apps and widgets you enable, communicate about the product (including support), maintain security, and understand aggregate product usage so we can improve Bide. We do not sell your personal information.

Depending on your location, we process data based on: performance of our contract with you; your consent (for example optional permissions); our legitimate interests in securing and improving Bide; and compliance with legal obligations. In Brazil, we also process personal data in accordance with the LGPD (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados).

We may share information with infrastructure and service providers who process data on our instructions (hosting, analytics, email delivery, crash reporting), with Apple or Google for sign-in and subscriptions, and when required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not share your check-in notes for advertising.

We keep account and check-in data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward if needed for backups, disputes, or legal requirements. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data by emailing contact@getbide.app.

We use industry-standard safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; please use a strong device passcode and keep your OS updated.

Bide is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Ax Hill is based in Brazil. Your information may be processed in Brazil and other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

Depending on applicable law (including LGPD and, where relevant, GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Contact contact@getbide.app. You may also contact your local data protection authority.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new effective date on this page and, for material changes, provide additional notice in the app or by email when appropriate.
