Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Bide mobile application and website at getbide.app (together, "Bide"), operated by Ax Hill Tecnologia da Informação LTDA ("Ax Hill", "we", "us"), CNPJ 53.748.847/0001-15. By using Bide you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Bide.

Bide offers tools for a short pre-meal pause and related awareness features (check-ins, progress views, short reads, optional Guarded Apps on supported platforms, and widgets). Bide is not a medical device, therapy, diet program, or substitute for professional medical or nutritional advice. Always seek qualified professionals for health decisions.

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction (and at least 13, or the higher age required where you live). You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and notify us of unauthorized use.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Bide for your own non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reverse engineer, scrape, resell, or misuse Bide, or interfere with its security or other users.

Some features may require a paid subscription ("Bide+"). Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their payment terms, refund policies, and cancellation flows. We do not control store billing interfaces. Free features may change over time; we will not remove access to paid features you already purchased for the period you paid for without a material reason disclosed in-app or by the store.

Optional Guarded Apps features rely on platform APIs (such as Apple Screen Time / Family Controls). You choose which apps to include. Bide is designed as a pause, not a punishment lock. You remain responsible for how you configure device permissions.

You retain rights to notes and other content you submit. You grant us a license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate Bide for you. Do not submit unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.

You agree not to use Bide to violate law, infringe rights, distribute malware, attempt unauthorized access, or abuse our systems or support channels.

Bide is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Bide will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific health goals.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ax Hill and its directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of Bide. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to Bide will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for Bide in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.

You agree to indemnify and hold Ax Hill harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of Bide or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

You may stop using Bide at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Provisions that by nature should survive (including disclaimers and limitations) will survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Brazil shall have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.

We may update these Terms. We will post the new effective date on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance, except where applicable law requires additional consent.
